Fischer-Tropsch Wax

Fischer-Tropsch wax is mainly composed of linear saturated high-carbon alkanes with relative molecular weight of 500-1000, giving the chemical a fine crystal structure, high melting point, narrow melting range, low oil content and low permeability. Low fluidity, low melt viscosity, hardness, abrasion resistance and high stability. The significant differences between Fischer-Tropsch waxes and general purpose polyethylene waxes (PE waxes) are (a) molecular weight. indispensable in PVC pipes, hot melt adhesives, inks and masterbatches, filler masterbatches.

PVC pipes:

It can be used as an external lubricant for PVC, it helps to disperse the filler when mixing. For hot melt adhesives: In hot melt adhesive application, FT wax is characterized by.

1,No pollution and taste, can be used directly in food contact hot melt adhesive industry.

2,With high freezing point, it can improve the heat resistance of hot melt adhesive.

3,Small needle penetration can improve the strength of hot melt adhesive.

4,The carbon distribution range is relatively narrow, the opening time is relatively small, and the curing time is short.

Wax for ink and coating:

Fischer-Tropsch wax, specially designed for water-based ink systems requiring wax powder with high anti-friction and easy dispersion properties. The wax powder shows many excellent properties in aqueous inks to maximize the required slip and friction resistance. When used in inks as a particulate powder, it can improve the abrasion resistance and wrinkle resistance of the applied material. When applied to coatings, it can provide a wrinkle effect, and when used in the micronized state it can form a streak and waterline wrinkle effect. When added to powder coating resin, it plays a lubricating role in the extrusion process, which can reduce screw torque, reduce energy consumption and improve production efficiency.

Waxes for masterbatches:

Fischer-Tropsch waxes can be used in the plastics industry: for example, in injection molding, extrusion and in the pelletizing industry. It contributes to the dispersion and excellent slip of the filler in the masterbatch process. It helps to disperse the pigments in mixing, especially in extrusion of high viscosity systems, saving 40-50% of the amount of PE wax added, and significantly improving the surface gloss of products.
