Polypropylene PP

Polypropylene, abbreviated as PP, is a polymer of propylene by polymerization. It is a white waxy material, transparent and light in appearance. Chemical formula (C3H6)n, density 0.89 ~ 0.91g/cm3, flammable, melting point of 164 ~ 170 ºC, in 155 ºC around the softening, the use of temperature range of -30 ~ 140 ºC. It is resistant to corrosion by acids, alkalis, saline liquids and a variety of organic solvents below 80°C, and can decompose at high temperatures and under oxidation. Polypropylene is a thermoplastic synthetic resin with excellent performance, is a colorless semi-transparent thermoplastic lightweight general-purpose plastic, with chemical resistance, heat resistance, electrical insulation, high strength mechanical properties and good high abrasion-resistant processing properties, etc. It is widely used in the production of apparel, blankets and other fibrous products, medical devices, automobiles, bicycles, parts, conveying pipelines, chemical containers, etc., and is also used for food and drug packaging.
