1,Metallic zirconium and its compounds raw materials
Used in the production of metallic zirconium and zirconium compounds, refractory bricks and crucibles, high-frequency ceramics, abrasive materials, ceramic pigments and zirconates, etc. Mainly used in zirconium bricks, zirconium tubes, crucibles, etc. for piezoelectric ceramics products, daily-use ceramics, refractories, and precious metal melting. Also used in the production of steel and non-ferrous metals, optical glass and zirconium dioxide fiber. Also used in ceramic pigments, electrostatic coatings and baking paints. Used in epoxy resin to increase resistance to corrosion by hot salt water.

2,Refractory materials
Zirconia fiber is a polycrystalline refractory fiber material. Due to the high melting point, non-oxidation and other high-temperature excellent characteristics of the ZrO2 substance itself, ZrO2 fiber has a higher service temperature than other refractory fiber varieties such as alumina fiber, mullite fiber and aluminum silicate fiber. Zirconia fiber in the 1500 ºC above the ultra-high-temperature oxidizing atmosphere for long-term use, the highest use temperature of up to 2200 ºC, even to 2500 ºC can still maintain the complete shape of the fiber, and high-temperature chemical stability, corrosion-resistant, oxidation-resistant, anti-heat shock, non-volatile, non-polluting, is currently the top of the international a refractory fiber materials. ZrO2's acid and alkali corrosion resistance is much stronger than SiO2 and Al2O3, insoluble in water, soluble in sulfuric acid slightly. It can co-melt with alkali to generate zirconate.

3,Gas turbine
Plasma sprayed zirconium dioxide thermal barrier coating in aviation and industrial gas turbines on the application has been a great progress, in a certain limit has been used for gas turbine turbine part. Because this coating can reduce the temperature of air-cooled high-temperature parts by 50 to 200 ºC, it can significantly improve the durability of high-temperature parts, or allow an increase in the temperature of the gas or reduce the amount of cooling gas required to keep the temperature of high-temperature parts unchanged, thus improving the efficiency of the engine.
